Fellow, The Transition of Work to Agent-Led Processes

Julie Bedard was named a Fellow in 2025, focusing her research on The Transition of Work to Agent-Led Processes. She is a Managing Director & Partner based in BCG’s Boston office.

This research focuses on how AI and agents reshape the nature of work and value creation, analyzing adoption drivers, impacts on productivity and quality, and the organizational designs that enable effective integration of AI into workflows.
Julie supports clients across a variety of industries on people topics.

As a leading member of both the People and Organization as well as the Tech and Digital Advantage Practice Areas at BCG, she has significant expertise in organizational transformation, digital transformation, talent strategies, and human resources across industries. She is a frequent speaker on these topics at leading tech and other forums.

Since joining the firm’s Boston office in 2009, Julie has held many office leadership roles, as well as having served as a BCG ambassador. Before joining BCG, she worked at The Bridgespan Group and CRA International, Inc.

Outside of work, Julie enjoys spending time with her family, including two children, often traveling or spending time near the ocean around Boston.
