About the BCG Center for Macroeconomics

BCG Center for Macroeconomics articulates the firm’s global macro views through frequent publications, and advises executives and investors on navigating cyclical and structural economic risks.

Today’s essential macroeconomic debates are often inaccessible and typically skewed toward dark predictions. Though macroeconomic flux and risk are the highest in a generation, it remains critical to focus on the structural foundations of economies and how they shape outcomes cyclically. Point forecasts don’t do this – the C-suite and portfolio managers require economic narratives, built on strong frameworks, that can provide clarity about risks and business implications.

Our research and client activities are deeply intertwined. Engaging with leaders across all industries and all geographies keeps our research agenda focused, while our research coverage is the basis for client service.
