Their groundbreaking study, Reskilling in the Age of AI,” co-authored by Jorge Tamayo, Leila Doumi, and Raffaella Sadun focused on the reskilling of employees amidst the rapid advancement of automation and AI technologies.

The article delves into the interviews with leaders from over forty organizations actively investing in extensive reskilling initiatives. The authors uncovered five key shifts in the reskilling landscape, providing valuable insights for companies embarking on this necessary transformation.

The HBR Prize, judged by an independent panel of business and academic leaders with input from members of HBR’s Advisory Board, spotlights the most outstanding article published each year in Harvard Business Review. The prize was established in 1959 to recognize groundbreaking management thinking.
